so far I only need a 1924 to complete a year type set for my Buffalo nickels. Nothing special I just picked these up in the past year. Half I sent in myself and the rest I bought already graded.

I've been posting some of the coins that just got back from grading. My 1931 S is the lowest minted date that I have. I havent bought any key dates yet.

Mintage of 1,200,000 but not that hard to get in better grades.

Nice. Good luck with the last coin needed. Will you be expanding the set to get all the dates and mints or just keep it as is?

I plan on getting all PD and S coins in the next couple of years. I'm trying to get a full horn set.

Love these nickels and can still remember picking the occasional one out of my pocket change here in the great white north.

Like the '31-S cents, the '31-S nickels were greatly hoarded.

Nice examples you've posted there. Best of luck and have fun with this series! It's a tricky one, so hold out for well struck, better die state examples. You can buy any date and grade on any given day, but finding a solid struck example, with good eye appeal, in EDS-MDS is tough!

Best of luck with the 1924! I've been looking for a well struck MS65 on and off for awhile now.
