I have a 1971 D Eisenhower dollar that I was just taking photos of and noticed what looked like a "ghost wing" alongside the original wing. As you can tell I know nothing/very little of the wording used for different errors on coins. I have tried looking up and seeing if there are any other ones with this different mark but haven't found any. I'm open to any comments, information, wording etc and if I have run across a rare Error.. {boy wouldn't that make my year! } tho not really expecting a miracle any way here are a few photos - thanks again for any help

Very interesting. I do not believe I have ever seen this. I expect others will be able to offer an opinion.

In the closeup picture it looks incuse, which would make this a scratch rather than a mint error. Maybe one or two more pics from different angles?

Not mirroring exactly, so I'm going to agree with Spence and say it looks like a scratch. Interesting.
