I've noticed in my collection that I have two different 1952 D lincolns. The difference is with the placement of the mint mark. On one the D is almost touching the leg of the 5 on the date. The other has the D mint mark much lower with a significant space between the D and the 5.

I wish this camera worked, I realy want to offer photos. Has anyone else noticed these variations?

Yep, the mint marks were set by hand and that's why they vary in distance. They were not part of the die till I believe 1990.
