Not a long nock, too be one the nock needs to extend out about twice what this one does, almost to or past the feather tips. These 78-S can be tricky to ID I have a few I can't figure out and neither could John Roberts at ANACS when I sent them in. I was leaning towards a VAM22 until I saw the nostril on yours was closed, ruled out the VAM22. Your close up photos are great the over all obverse and reverse could be a lot better, color and sharpness/focus just aren't good enough for me to blow up areas needed to see for 78-S like "LIBERTY" and Eagle WINGS plus some of the EPU motto. I'm at a loss after staring at it for 20 minutes. That Mint Mark looks unusual enough I thought it shouldn't be that tough - nope I was wrong. (not the first time either).
