From what I read, this was issued in 2016. I have one off that auction
site that is dated 2022.

Was I sold a copy of dubious origin ?

The Tudor Beasts Lion of England coin was first minted in 2016 and is still being produced today. I have a '22 and it's absolutely gorgeous.

The ten Queen's beasts were designed based on ten statues originally at Westminster Abbey, representing the ancestry of Queen Elizabeth II. The coins were released from 2016 to 2021. The ten Tudor beasts series are based on statues at another location and are somewhat different, coming from Henry VIII linage. The first Tudor beast release in 2022 is also a lion as was the Queen's beasts first release.

Thank you for the clarification, livingwater.
As an aside, I challenge anyone to walk through Westminster Abbey without walking on someone's grave. It's like driving across Dublin without passing a bar.
