Proof-Like Set? Or Unc Set? - Coin Community Forum

These sets would be mass produced by a third party and to get that many PL coins for multiple sets would be a challenge plus the fact they would be worth over $200.00 per set. thedollarman Pillar of the Community Canada 4911 Posts	Posted 11/17/2022 7:47 pm The obverse of the dollar looks very shiny and well struck.. some of the rims look very full on other coins as well.. I think it is a proof-like scent that has been moved into one of those crappy holders. A good indicator for these sets that I look for is the full cameo on the reverse of the $0.05 piece.. normally a mintstate would not have that but all proof likes appear to. I'm a HUGE fan of 20th century Canadian coins, up to 1967 anyway, especialy anything silver. (Don't care for the loonies and toonies or steel coins, but I digress...!) Report this Post to the Staff
