Appears to be a classic Dryer Coin. Post-strike damage.

I think so too, however it appears to be folded, not rolled.

Bobby, did you try putting on top of a regular cent to see if the diameter
is smaller. A Dryer Coin would have a smaller diameter.

Could be altered if the weight is more than normal? (And the diameter is normal.
But seems to be too much metal on the edges to be a Dryer Coin. (Diameter would also be reduced if a Dryer Coin) Either way not a premium for the coin.
