ok kind of a silly question but is there sumething in his eye or is that normal for it to look that way and what about the scar going acros the cheek is it caused from a nother coin hitting it

the eye thing looks like the result of a die chip, very common on dimes this century, the cheek marks are contact from other coins

Agree with the die chip assessment--given the images posted. Other facial marks appear to be hits/dings taken in circulation.
