would like to get a regional concensus of prices being paid for Wheat cent rolls, avg circ. mixed dates, read that as mostly mid 30's to 50's...what would you pay in ? state thanks friends, I appreciate the feedback......dean

I would pay 2 dollars a roll however I have seen them go as high as 3 dollars.

I wouldn't pay over $1.50 a roll unless I knew it was other than 40s and 50s. That said, I have seen them go for $2.50-$3.00 lately. So maybe I would give $2.00 just to go through them and then resell them.

i dont buy many but I think the going rate now is 4 cent a coin or 2 dollars a roll

Wisconsin here...the main dealer in town pays 3 cents each, while two of the smaller dealers pay 2 cents each. Personally, I pay 3 cents each unless they're older (pre 1920), then I might pay up to 6 cents each.

My dealer charges 5 cents each in bulk and rolls and he pays 3 cents.

I am the same as BadThad, 3 cents and 5 cents. I just purchased 1000 today and I am thoroughly pleased so far- quite a number of Teens and 20s, a 1909, 1916D, and a 1914S in VG/F

All the dealers around my area are paying .03 each for wheat cents. One dealer does pay $2.25 for circulated 1955 and under s mint rolls.

Two shops this weekend selling for 5cents each. 2.50 roll.
