I was wondering if anyone new if the mint is going to sell rolls and bags of cents directly to the public

I have talked to the mint on at least 3 occasions and all 3 times I was told they would be selling rolls in the late spring whenever that is.

I was told it would be at least winter before we would have a chance at getting them. I hope they release them in the spring.

On the NGC forum it has been reported that roll sets will be for sale on March 13th.

My own take on this is that I wouldn't bother paying the premium to receive ANY circulating coins from the Mint. At one time or another any or all of them will be available at the banks.
