@cop, here is a link to the known '43 S RPMs. Which one do you think you have?

Please do not use screen shots, they are too pixilated and distort the image.
We need to see the image as clear as possible to best help you.

The markers for an RPM if not all present does not prevent a positive attribution, however, the positioning of the mintmark relative the devices making the date do have to be exact for a specific attribution. Also, you need to look at the issue of shelfing of the mintmark doubling suggestive of Machine Doubling. Are you seeing the same type of doubling on other devices, this could mean a Strike Doubling, not a repunched mintmark. But I am not the expert here.

You are using Windows 10. If the software you use to view does not have a save feature, use [Win][Shift][S] to properly capture the image and save to a file for upload.

Not sure what you are seeing. On the SE direction of the devices on the date and mintmark areas, the die wear will be in that direction:
1943-S-Wheat-Cent-Is-This-An-S-Over-S-?
1943-S-Wheat-Cent-Is-This-An-S-Over-S-?
So if it appears on that direction on both the date and the mintmark areas, it is die wear. If you are seeing it on the NW areas on your coin, it appears to be Machine Doubling. It will look flat and affect just the outside/inside areas of the mintmark area. It will also be seen on the date devices if it is Machine Doubling. RPMs are caused by the mintmark punch missing the target area on the mintmark of the die. It will show a separate punch. The MD and die wear is not the issue here to be a RPM. It has to have the shape of the mintmark punch in order to be a RPM.
Note on the V.V site for the listings. Note they are listed in a direction:
http://www.varietyvista.com/02a%20L...%201943S.htm

Coppercoins also lists there with most of the same numbers of the Variety Vista listings, but add more numbers that don't match.
https://www.coppercoins.com/advsearch.php
Add the information to get the date, mint, and die variety information, to compare their listings.

RPMs will be enlarged and also show extra punch marks. So that is what to look for on these.
