I'll say VG-08, but the grade is not a factor in determining this coin's value.

VG-08-10 , It really doesn't matter . Common circ . worth maybe 40 ¢ for it's 35% silver content .  |

I note that War Nickels are surprisingly cheap in higher grades. Perhaps the reason for this is that many were taken out of circulation in the war years and kept aside, because they looked so bright. Expect to pay more for fully struck up 6 steppers. When War Nickels have sustained a lot of wear, they take on the color much closer to any other nickel. That is one of the reasons why they can still be found in pocket change. |

Well circulated VG range. Its a common date 35% silver War Nickel as you already know. Nice find in change but no numismatic premium, only silver content value. Take a look at my other hobby ... https://www.jk-dk.artToo many hobbies .... too much work .... not enough time. |
