1964 D Lincoln Cent, Is This An Error? (Top Left Of United)

I'm new to coin collecting but found a 1964 D penny that looked kind of odd, the coin is in bad condition, but top left of united it looks the rim moves down or maybe letters are supposed to be there idk. Also the l in liberty seems to be missing on the front, I think that's just environmental damage though. Thanks guys! Edit: if there is an error, is it worth anything?
