I'm very new to coin collecting and have gone down the rabbit hole! Confused by this coin. I feel like there is a lot going on. Still figuring out my scope so will have better pictures soon.
You should always post full obverse and reverse photos. This looks like damage from another coin being sandwiched together it. Reversed lettering is a telltale indicator of this type of PMD.

These will be incuse on the coin, besides being mirrored. They were transferred off another coin, not a die issue. As mentioned, the coin was normal, but altered post strike. A doubled die will have a spread on the devices, making the devices wider/taller. And the closed areas of the devices will be reduced in size on a doubled die: Note the size differences when compared with a normal die and a doubled die. Then your eyes will know more what to look for on doubled dies.
