Help Needed 1859 Canada Penny Variety

westy00 Valued Member Canada 340 Posts	Posted 12/06/2022 1:29 pm I have an ICCS graded 1859 Canada penny graded vf 30 narrow 9 dbl 85. I cant nail down whether its a common error or not and the value .It also has a triple punched O in One but not mentioned by ICCS as they only look at the date. Please help. okiecoiner Pillar of the Community Canada 5591 Posts	Posted 12/06/2022 3:23 pm I don't have time to go through all the ID's for the actual Haxby number, but it's either 164 or 165 and it's a little hard to find, but not scarce or rare. It's a rarity 2, so maybe 15-20 retail in that condition. Report this Post to the Staff

The Obverse is either 47 (164) or 47a (165). You'll have to compare the obverse to the Haxby catalog pages to determine which one it is. As Okiecoiner said, they are both R2 which is fairly common.
