I liked the recent threat by CarrsCoins about guessing the price he paid for a Large Cent. So here is another - an 1800 Sheldon S-205.

Please grade and estimate what I paid for this cent 4 years ago (2018).

I'll say VF-30 or possibly 35, super lovely. Don't know much about the value of these.

Good idea.

Since I am Germany this may be a bit difficult...may take a while until I am in the USA in April so that I can mail safely. Let me think of a suitable prize.

grade - eac vf 25 slab vf 35. there are worse coins in xf holders. my grade has it tied at condition census #9 for the variety

price - $1800 usd

You might be stepping on the toes of Jbucks' Guess The Price Contest . But I'll say VF-35 about $1250 .

If it goes to a legit contest maybe the OP will give everyone 2 guesses? Or, 2 prizes - one for closest price and one for closest grade (soonest guessed)....

That's a stunner of an 1800 S-205. I was thinking choice VF35. Amazing color and surfaces.
Price in 2018 $550. Market was still down back then. Nowadays that coin probably gets $1500+ full retail.
