@all, first welcome to CCF. Second, I think you have a modern fantasy cast coin made in the style of an older fantasy cast coin. Compare your piece to the one linked below, especially the reverse. Both are meant to look ancient, so I'm going to move your thread to that subforum. https://www.acsearch.info/search.ht...=1&es=1&ot=1¤cy=usd&order=0 Added: for completeness, here is the listing from the original fantasy medallion: Quote: Fantasy Æ Cast Paduan Medallion. Unknown maker, circa 1600-1900. Head of Minerva(?) right, wearing Corinthian helmet, facing head of uncertain figure left / Sow standing right, piglets between legs; uncertain objects above. 218.00g, 63mm, 12h.

It's not a genuine ancient coin. Rather, it's a variation on the "herd of pigs" (or sometimes "herd of elephants") fantasy coin. The obverse is very, very loosely based on coins of Seleucus I (the legend is corrupted sort-of-Greek, based on "Basilews Seleukou", though the portrait more resembles those on Roman coins. The reverse is a complete fantasy. See this old thread for some discussion on these.

Thank you very much for the answers. I tried to find something similar on the Internet, but I did not succeed. It is clear that it is something copied from Roman coins and the writing seems to be of Latin origin. Thank you very much !!

It looks like a cheap knock off.
