1962 Gold Looking Penny Rim - Coin Community Forum

SDM1969 New Member United States 5 Posts	Posted 12/11/2022 4:54 pm Hi all! Ive come across a 1962 D penny that is super shiny, gold colored, and it has what appears to be an extra rim (of sorts). Is this just junk or is it something special? I have attached a photo of it next to a regular penny to show the peculiar color and hopefully you can see what I mean by the "extra rim".
