Lack of detail at K1-3 obverse detracts. I also think it might have been cleaned, but images are not the best.

I'm just a newbie ; Where the heck is K1-3 ? And in my opinion, I don't think it was cleaned.

Tony - The K scale just refers to the face of a clock, so in this case, from 1 to 3 o'clock on the obverse, which is clearly weak. Just suggesting that it looks cleaned to me in these pics - don't feel strongly about this.

Grades maybe VG, approaching Fine for detail. Rim weakness is a negative and it does have a light color which suggests some kind of cleaning. Decent hole-filler for a circulated set and the price seems OK.

This is noticeably better than a VG.

I'm at F15 minimum shot at VF20.

The cleaning looks rather old, market acceptable to me.

Bruce , It's a common fact that 1913 Buffalo nickels are weak in that area of LIBERTY . And if it was once cleaned, I believe it is market acceptable .

F12 close to F15, but surfaces net it down IMO. Might end up lookibg darker in hand, pictures are a bit washed out. I'd also say old cleaning, but market acceptable. I'm more concerned about the obverse scratch running through the braid, under the chin. Curious how this one turns out in hand
