Devils advocate here. It is now a cleaned coin. Which is better clean or conserve due to environmental deterioration?

One must also consider the fact that some organic materials are water soluble and others are alcohol soluble

I will consider it a bath and not cleaned. As no rubbing or any attempt to touch the surface with any cleaning instrument had been performed. A mere bath with 100% Acetone is sufficient for me and as I have understood, grading professionals from the big companies would do the same and perhaps even more. I am glad it had a bath to preserve any zinc rot I had seen wanting to start. Therefore, I must disagree with your cleaning comment, however, respectfully acknowledge your opinions. Have a marvelous evening.
