the coin has alot of circulation wear but I cant help thinking I am seeing correct DDR and not md. certain elements have the east spread specifically the O and N in one also C in cent, on front it does have scratches in front of forehead and back of hair
i used variety vista DDR 001 fs1801

I agree with above, it is MD. flat shelf like doubling,all concentrated on the same side of the devices, devices have not enlarged, rather reduced in size........there are many tutorials you can use as reference and learn, to find them use the search box on the top left. or click on this > Machine Doubling

The affected areas are reduced in size, removing the contour of the devices. On the DDR, it is enlarged, not reduced:
1982-Small-Possible-DDR-001
Machine Doubling altered the devices post strike. Reducing the size of these devices. On a doubled die, the die is doubled and the devices are enlarged on the die. So you can have Machine Doubling on a doubled die, but Machine Doubling never creates a doubled die. Machine Doubling is a removal of part of the contour of the devices, usually on one side of the affected devices.

CoopHome: How to tell a 1982 FS-1801 from a normal die? note the devices are wider on the DDR. look for spread on the devices, not incuse reduction of the device sizes.
