I am not saying to do this but I came across this on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/2008-P-D-LINCOL...CE_W0QQitemZ220370070282QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCoins_US_Individual?hash=item220370070282&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72:1205|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318|301:1|293:1|294:50

ebay fees and paypal fees plus a stamp to ship these kills the profit. Lucky to make 0.20 each set.

1 box of each would be 2500 sets. Here is the breakdown I come up with if you sold only one set at a time:

2500 sets sold = $2500 gross
2500 stamps = $1050
Total ebay fees = $300.35
Total Paypal Fees = $825.00

Total profit = $324.65 - $50 (cost to buy cents at face) = $274.65 (about 0.11 per set)

Maybe I'm wrong or I missed something but seems like more work then i'd like to do :0 Sorry to be a stick in the mud :)

Doesn't sound like fun to me, either. $1 ebay auctions are very inefficient.

I'm with chris, and you didn't even factor in packaging, postage, time and gas cost...it's not even worth the effort IMO.

This type of thing is also sometimes used to get feedback percentage and/or start ratings up. Do lots of successful easy transactions...

Good point Ken. Its great for people who are just starting out and want to get some feedback going fast to help future sales. Plus its low risk for most people to spend a buck.
