I've looked at several 1945 LWC's before and been fooled by Class VI: ....overused thickened or flattened design features on the Working Dies. It appears all the Stage B clash markers are present on my coin. The images don't capture the depth of the clashes.

Thank you your input is appreciated.

This doesn't look like WDDO-001 to me, the 45 appears very different. I think your coin just happens to have a similar die clash.

It may be one of the lesser DDO's but definitely not WDDO-001, DDO-001, 1DO-006. The clashes are quite common during this time period. Sorry but I think you've been fooled again.

Not seeing it. Markers mean nothing if you don't have the DD first. They are just to confirm the DD. Looks like a little circ. flatting. I hate class 6s.

I'm not seeing a class 6 DDO either.

However, there may be a secondary eyelid (class 4) may be well south of the eyelid.
Nothing seems to match at CC and DD (Wexler) has about 25 listings with no description or images.

The images are tending towards a die clash issue. But I agree, I'm not seeing a Doubled Die.

The DDO shows distortion on the 9 & 4 more.

Thank you all. I'm still having trouble distinguishing a worn and circulated 1945 from a DDO Class IV. Coop - the indentation where the vertical and horizontal bar of the 4 meet really helps. Sorry, the nuances are so subtle.
