Heck of a CBH to start your collection with
AU55, pretty toning
Looks like O-117 (R2)

This may be the coin that initiates the obsession! I say XF-45. Minor guido at K-4 and K-10. Now you have to get the other varieties, such as the large date large letters, and large date small letters.

Quote: Minor guido at K-4 and K-10 if you look close the denticles are also a little flat at K8 and just a hint at K2. when you see this (K2, K4, K8 & K10) my first thought was that it was mounted at some point. XF45 not sure she grades straight due to the above

Mounted is highly unlikely. Keep in mind that this series didn't have a collar, so the coins are all out of round to some degree. There will be weaker places on the rim than others. I've never seen a double guido so I assume the K-8 and K-2 weakness is simply from strike.

Got the coin in hand today. Must say I love it. Worth sending in for a slab in the communities opinion?

Looks to be less color and more luster in hand. Nice coin. I would say not slab just because it conceals the edge lettering from close inspection.
Speaking of edge lettering, is it all there?
