Hello all

Just bought this 1872 Straits Settlements Queen Victoria 1¢. But I discovered inconsistencies with numista specification.

The Obverse
Restrike,-Counterfeit-Or-Genuine-1872-Straits-Settlements-Queen-Victoria-1¢

The reverse
Restrike,-Counterfeit-Or-Genuine-1872-Straits-Settlements-Queen-Victoria-1¢

Instead of it being medal alignment which most UK coins are and I check numista which it should be. This piece is Coin Alignment, just like the US coins!

Next the standard weight is 9.33g but this piece is 9.7g from my scale!

What do you guys think? Restrike with original dies, counterfeit or a genuine coin?

Is it a rare date? And is the alignment perfect coin alignment or slightly off?

Made a check thru' a few graded 1872H and confirm the alignment #8593;#8595; is correct.
