Looks to me damaged 'rusted, sanded, tiny holes . Then again . I don't see many photos of foreign material in dies.cloth ?
The lines that look sanded , could this be gas in occluded gas from planchette error ?
Is this coins just trash? Thanks

Definitely PMD of some sort, but the horizontal lines are curious.

Notice how the horizontal lined do not touch the profile of Lincoln or over the date on the obverse, and inside the 0 of one or other such devices. This tells me that someone scrubbed the coin with something that could not follow the contour of the devices.
What I'm saying is that this is PMD.

Agree. Post-strike damage. The coin isn't necessarily trash--a devoted lover of wheat cents would probably find a home for this one, somewhere.

Environmentally damaged and maybe wire wheel damage?

Looks like a woody that spent some time in the ground or harsh environment. You can see that the "lines" are following each other, obverse to reverse, same angle.
