Picked this one up today from a dealer. It's a big 'un, coming in with a largest diameter of 27.2mm (smallest is 26.5mm). It has no reeding at all.

That is impressive.
Neat that it's almost the same size as a Susan B. Anthony dollar.

Thanks folks! I liked this one as soon as I saw it. But Sir Pockets, what do you mean "almost" the same size as a Susan B? The smallest diameter on the quarter is the same as the Susan, so the quarter is bigger!

Well, my eyes were almost working?

I was in a bit of a rush with my reply ( I should have been focussed on invoicing clients but was playing instead when I saw you had posted some finds) and I was looking at your image as a comparison between the two. I should have taken it a little further and actually compared it to the diameter of the SBA dollar.

(What can I say except that like a lot of folks here, when I see you've posted something , in my excitement other important things can take a back seat.)

I have a half hour of antenna free for me so I decide to post here an interesting point of information and also educational for the quarters collectors and others also.

Thanks TROP to post this one. Beside the broadstruck coin this coin on Reverse on the left wings show the 1992 design which go till 1999 (no all) the re-engraved Master Die. Please look and analyze the extract photo which will follow. I sad that not all 1999 show this because in 99 they us at the Mint also CNC to produce the Dies which comes in full use in 2000. Is believe that is half and half production, so not a rarity but an interesting point of the historic procedures at the Mint and an add for the collections.

Thanks again TROP.
