Another one I picked up yesterday. Just seemed like an attractive double strike in pretty good condition with at least some of the second date.

Looks like the second strike was struck over a blank planchet (Flattening the reverse details) and the obverse is showing a hint of reed lines, but no actual reeds. Mike Diamond might like to see these images. First time I've seen the smeared looking reed lines. (Wonder if this one had a collar clash on the edge of the die?) Just never noticed this before.

Thanks folks! And yes, the second strike was struck through an unstruck planchet or blank, hence the coin is uniface.

I don't do enough with reeded-edge coins to know if that slide effect is common or not, but it sure did make the coin look great in the images as it has nice geometry.
