1863 Not One Cent Mark Above Date - Coin Community Forum

I've tried to marry it with examples on line but have come up empty. Has anyone seen this version of the 1863 Not One Cent? Report this Post to the Staff

Wilson, a NY City diesinker/engraver. The "H" marked a die by Horter, a contemporary NY City diesinker. These tradesmen among others were known to collaborate and exchange dies. There's a great book penned by Dave Bowers, called Engravers, Minters & Distributors of Civil War Tokens. If one is a member of the Civil War Token Society, this and other subject-related books can be purchased for a very low price!
