Looking through the other items listed for sale there is a ton of other actual Buffalo nickels as well as a couple correctly titled Jefferson nickels, so its most likely just a listing mistake listing a bunch of items too fast or got someone else to list some and is not intentional from the looks of it. The Buffalo nickel, or Indian Head Nickel, was introduced in 1913 and struck each year until 1938 but not 1952 for those wondering Heres a good one, Rare No Date Indian Head Buffalo nickel priced at only 800 or best offer accepted https://www.ebay.com/itm/224576619506

Dearborn, probably just a copy/paste error when they did multiple listings. It happens. But whenever I see "BU" in an auction title, I automatically assume "BS". This listing is supporting evidence.

of course it is, Hondo, I just get a huge kick out of it. Errors happen all the time - I was going through my PCGS inventory and found that I attached the wrong picture to one of my coins.. (1990 ASE cert with a 1988 image - not that huge an error but shows a lack of attention to detail). (I fixed mine)

Dearborn, it wasn't just the mixup on that item that disturbed me. It's the use of "BU" for a coin that is clearly neither brilliant nor uncirculated.

This is why you need to post items on ebay BEFORE you go to the bar at night and not AFTER you get home from one.

I love it datadragon... just great - sums it it all up! Quote: But whenever I see "BU" in an auction title, I automatically assume "BS". This listing is supporting evidence.
