I forgot to add the food stores for my dogs too... plenty of cans there as well. (I can make 1 can last for 2 days for 2 dogs - German Shepherds if pushed to do so I also use the rice to augment their diet. Each box holds 40 cans...

Better stay stocked on food, water and essentials. With the diesel shortage coming very few trucks will be able to make deliveries. Those that make fun of you for wearing a tin foil hat now will be those at your front door asking for help when the crap hits the fan.

A few underground caches just may come in handy if you get bombarded by the zombies.

So it seems (and I myself agree) , in an average persons societal breakdown physical metals are not even going to be in your top ten most needed items ...
especially in Australia ...
in the early 1960's the civil defense committee of Tasmania met in Hobart to develop contingency plans for civil defense response to atomic strikes on Tasmania.
after a brief discussion ; someone just said " this is Tasmania, lets be realistic and just all go home ".
which ended all atomic defense planning in Tasmania forever LOL

So after a lot of research and evaluating different options the best silver to buy is modern silver government coins as an investment ...
constitutional silver sells for spot price plus 50 %
a blast white raw government coin sells for spot plus 50%
and unlike a silver generic round or bar; the government coin authenticates itself !!!
so these government coins have some premium as a Semi-Numismatics coin have the best medium term potential as a silver investment vehicle :)
