probably S-76. gonna need a picture of the back to help you out with this one. does it have a plain edge or a lettered edge?

what sorts of things are you looking to learn about this coin?

Please remove the coin from holder and post full coin photos front and back along with what you want to know.

looks authentic to me.

the die variety is S-76. there are two sub varieties for that one depending on the edge. S-76A says "one hundred for a dollar" in incuse letters. S-76B has a plain smooth edge. 76A is Rarity-5 (31-75 estimated survivors) 76B is Rarity-1 (more than 2,000 survivors)

that coin is called a Liberty Cap Large Cent. that style was minted in Philadelphia from 1793 to 1796. there were about 37,000 lettered edge 1795s and 500,000 plain edge 1795s minted. the designer/engraver was Robert Scot.
