A pretty small lamination error, but the coin grade was pretty high and I only paid ten bucks for it. It's one of those coins where probably the error on the coin lowers the overall value of the coin in its grade. maybe it was the scratch that kept folks away, but seemed a nice price for the coin overall.
Thanks for the great comments! There seem to be a lot of lamination errors on certain early dates, such as 1918, but fewer on others. This is a year that seems to be tougher to find a decent one.
