Got my first 2023 coin today--Bessie Coleman 25 cents, Philly mint. I think that's a record for me. Usually I don't my find first new year coin until March.  |

I've said it numerous times, but I usually don't get the new year's coins until March at the very earliest, maybe early April. I guess that's a consequence of living in a town with a population less than the current year.

I found my first 2023 Cent, in a take-a-penny bowl at a grocery store.

I stopped by a change machine where I've had good results in the past and put in a $20 bill. Sure enough, out came a wide and varied mix of quarters, including a few nice 2020s and 2022s I already have.... and a Bessie Coleman to start my 2023 off right!  |

Picked up 2 Loomis rolls of these today !!! And I didn't have to pay 50 cents a piece or shipping .

I wasn't even looking for 2023's yet, then what do I find in my coffee change today? A 2023-P Bessie Coleman! When I came home, I couldn't find it anywhere... it was tucked into the cigarette lighter area in the car (with 2 authentic Concord Grapes swiped from [yes] Concord last year).  |
