Not sure if this is a proof or sms, don't know how to tell the difference, but just curious if this could have an error? I've tried my best to take decent pictures. Thanks in advance!

This is neither a proof nor an SMS (especially since this is a '64 coin) What you have is a well circulated business strike dime.

I do not see any error only a business strike coin that has silver value and is in average condition. I do see maybe a greased die struck at the end of some letters, which is why they look faint.

I see an average circulated business strike coin, worth silver value.

More information is always better when looking for help. What about it makes you feel it may be a proof or sms? What are you seeing that you feel may be an error? More information makes it much easier to address your exact concerns.
