My buddy got me started in Stamp/Coin collecting and then Jewelry making (lost wax investing using vacuum casting), Comic books and some baseball cards. (had to draw the line somewhere)

Retired in 21' and got called back to help out cause of Kovid and stayed ever since. Better than working @ LOWES for $15/hr.

Have the usual Wheat penny collection with some Indian Heads, some Peace and Morgans but no cc. Just started watching on youtube the different error and other things to look for in paper money. My first bank strap of $1's netted me one star note. The 2nd bank strap of $1's, 5x star notes in sequential order, 2x star notes and 6 other piles of sequential notes with gaps inbetween. 2017 series A

The ? I have is since these are new bills and probably not rare, but I do want to gift them to our grand daughter, should I PCGS them and would they keep all 5 bills together and graded? My thinking is that eventually they will be worth something in about 50yrs (long after I'm gone) hopefully and she can keep them or sell them. (bills are crisp unc) no folds tears or anything)

Ideas! tia

It's not worth to PGCS them, but they are CU (crisp uncirculated) I recommend putting them in a sleeve and storing them in a safe place. I have mine in boxes but you can put the sleeves in acid free paper or something like this:

CONSTR Acrylic Currency Notes Holders Display Box Currency Storage Page - Dollar Bill & Currency Collecting Supplies 1567111mm

I store my notes in a Sheffield field box.

Sheffield 12628 Field Box, Pistol, Rifle, or Shotgun Ammo Storage Box, Tamper-Proof Locking Ammo Can, Water Resistant, Made in The U.S.A, Stackable, Gray

Can't paste the link but you can search on Amazon.

You can post the links, just don't use the url shortener. They're not needed here, the software shortens them automagically.

Bobby posted the link. Either of those are good for long term storage as long as the notes are in a sleeve.
