I made a token purchase and was trying to grade and price this one out. NGC identified as BL-26A2 - Thin Flan. They also have them listed as both a Pre-confed 1/2P Harp and as Pre-confed - Thin Flan. Is there a difference, or just a change of classification/description?

Comparing to some tokens on HA, I'm having a hard time figuring how to grade and value.

Ranges from $456 (VF30)-$1680(AU53) USD. ebay has them listed higher. Saw a ICCS VG-8 that sold for $550 CAD at another auction. Current ebay listings seem even higher. Thoughts would be appreciated.

LOL I was the underbidder on this one against you! I did not have a strong opinion on value but the fact there are three unsold on ebay tells you it is probably not as scarce as one might think it is. I think you will make money on it but if you ask too much you might become the fourth for sale on ebay for a long time. My old Charlton just calls it a 28A2 Thin Flan 3.3 to 3.7g. But it is obviously a pre confed harp too.

That is too funny... Not often I run into someone you have been bidding against.

Really not sure how to grade these, went off the existing images and grades I could find. The ebay values seem really high considering they all look to be a lower grade.

My first blacksmith token and all part of the fun of learning. Shows me I also need to be careful when bidding on these, a bit of knowledge can be dangerous. Hopefully some of the token experts have some thoughts on it.
