Hey... I studied at the Best Labs; contributed essays to: "The Kitchen Magician's Guide to Better Coins Through Chemistry", etc.

HDOC is an Organic stripper, and has been used on coins for years. It has gained acceptance by TPGers (I mean, they keep certifying coins that obviously have been exposed to it, and the grades are usually pretty good). Personally, every 10c 1923-S FB purchased graded by one company has been broken-out, blasted, and resubmitted to another (well-respected) grading company, with a rise of a grade point in every resubmission. It's the truth, and surprised the heck out of me, too...
