I don't know if the half circle is an error or not but I'm pretty confidant about getting the DDO right?

The half circle is PMD. Where are you seeing doubling on the obverse? Did you check all three reference sites for an attribution number?

The circular gouge is a result of Wrapping Machine Damage.

The legend CENT you show in that nice photograph exhibits Machine Doubling on the cross bar of the N - not a doubled die.

I was seeing double on the reverse, specifically the ONE. No I don't know what reference sites. I did used the hyperlink PMD and was using Google earlier in the week. The only thing I found there was someone calling it a comet and another person calling it the circle of death. So I really appreciate you guys letting me know. I went to this site:
error-ref.com and found a lot of good stuff.

Recognizing a double die is the Bain of my existence!

to the CCF Circle of death is what we call the circle that a gum ball machine or coin roll crimper leaves on a coin. It kills any premium on the coin. Not seeing any doubling. John 1 gives you a lot of sites to learn about coins.
