I have a jaw-dropper for y'all... Feast your eyes on this 1915-S Buffalo nickel I pulled from a batch of 400 CWR at my favorite branch of my main bank today! This is the second rarest nickel I've EVER found in circulation (found a 1924-S as part of a hoard dump a couple years ago)... been doing this 7 1/2 years now... never expected to fill this hole in my CRH album.

Yeah, it happened AGAIN with the same teller for me yesterday... only this time, the coin was 8 years older.

I have the pleasure of reporting TWO more antique pennies today! One is a 1919-S; the other is a 1921-S. Granted I already have these in my collection, it was wonderful to find 2 antique coins in a single day. To top it off, these were found in rolls that were 90% brand new 2023's. I had gotten the box about a month ago, but didn't finish them because they were pretty orange. However, I did go through the first 10 rolls and found maybe 3 or 4 Wheat cents, if I remember correctly, so I didn't want to just send them back to the bank. A month later, I'm glad I didn't! Even though the copper's light as expected, I found 7 Wheat cents total in 23 rolls, also including a 1933-D. I believe that's a lower mintage one, with just 6.2 million minted, so that's another score and an album filler. I still have 17 rolls left to go in the box, which I'm saving for another day - gotta pace myself a bit So now I have: - x1 1891 Indian Head cent- x1 1901 Indian Head cent- x2 1909-P Wheat cent (not VDB) - x1 1916-P Wheat cent- x1 1917-P Wheat cent- x1 1918-P Wheat cent- x1 1919-P Wheat cent- x2 1919-S Wheat cent- x3 1920-P Wheat cent- x2 1921-S Wheat centHere are the images. The "S" on the 1921-S is a little hard to see, but it's there. Cheers!

And two more for me from Wednesday - yes, my 4th and 5th V nickels of the year! I also found a 1925 Philly cent (just missing by 2 years)...

Congrats, John77! I can't believe I'm posting in this thread again already. I found a 1919-D and a 1920-P today from 10 Loomis rolls. This is a new box, which is very similar to the last box, in that it's 90% zinc but Wheat cent rich. My best find today, or ever really, is a 1924-D. Too bad it's off by one year to make the cut, but they only made 2.5 million of these, and according to the Red Book/JM Bullion, it's worth $40 in G4 condition. The 1919-D and 1924-D are also both album fillers. Honestly, I think I may have hit upon a collection dump of some sort, and I was very lucky to get the sister box to the original box (a few weeks apart). I have another box from the same branch (obtained later), so we'll see if I can repeat this great harvest of sorts with that box, too. So now I have the following: - x1 1891 Indian Head cent- x1 1901 Indian Head cent- x2 1909-P Wheat cent (not VDB) - x1 1916-P Wheat cent- x1 1917-P Wheat cent- x1 1918-P Wheat cent- x1 1919-P Wheat cent- x1 1919-D Wheat cent- x2 1919-S Wheat cent- x4 1920-P Wheat cent- x2 1921-S Wheat centAnyway, here're the images for the 1919-D and 1920-P. Cheers!

The '21-S and '33-D are also great finds... you've definitely stumbled upon some sort of collection dump. Keep on digging!
