Hello how is everyone?
This is a first for me. I've never joined the forum before, but I do have some coins that I have questions on to see what they may be worth or what not. I hope to learn a lot. Thanks. Yvonne

I'm new Tuckery, but I know the questions will be asked to you along the lines of what are you referring to in your pics. Give the experts a better understanding versus just blankly guessing. Also, if this is an error of some type that you are looking for help their is a forum for coin errors http://goccf.com/f/5 <-- here. Lastly, may want to crop the pics so only they are appearing which gives unintentional zooming as well.

Yes, this "hobby", as some call it, and the CCF will definitely suck you right in to be a collector, and with more knowledge than you can ever imagine!

to CCF! As stated by the 'other' new guy, What we like to see right of the bat are your coins posted nice and large, both sides, up-right, and in good focus. Then any other images you think that will be helpful in areas you are concerned with. And a statement about your coin with what you think is going on with it, is hugely helpful.

Hello all!
Thanks for the welcomes and the pointers. Yes, I believe this error penny has a very quirky date. What do you see? I had to really focus in on it,
Appears to be a 198"4" intended penny date but there is a "5" between the 8 and 4. What value if any do you think this would bring? It's a very beautiful red color.
Thanks #129299; for any insight

We really need better pictures to be able to help. Go to the "Tutorials" section (there's a button above) to find guidance on uploading photos. From the photo presented, I'm not seeing anything obvious other than possible post-mint damage. There's also something on Lincoln's right shoulder that I can't quite make out.

Hard to tell (I was hoping to see better pictures by now) BUT, it could be a zinc blister starting to rot out the 84..
