I'm not a expert but looks like PMD. When a coin is scratched it raises metal (displacement) which than is worn down. Also the lines look to straight to be die cracks. Looking forward to see other opinions. :)

Was just scratches which rise the sides due to the pressure. PMD.

That is all intentional damage. Even though you feel raised lines, these are just caused by the initial cut in the center.

If a knife was at a steep angle, it would make the damage look raised. Thus the coin was altered to make it appear as raised. Note the distortion differences. The fields and the tops of the devices are showing opposite affects on this coin. On a die crack the fields and tops of devices are both showing the same things. Raised area where the void opened up on the die, leaving a raised area on the coin.  Also note that the die crack is not in a straight line? Varying where the die crack was on the die.
