So here's the story, I scrolled around on ebay and found this 1768 for sale, now the guy has it listed pretty cheap ($5) and has 98.1 percent good reviews with over 686 purchases. Check it out and make sure this is real or fake, no matter what would look cool to have. https://www.ebay.com/itm/314307739901

It says it is a gaming token.

"98.1 percent good reviews" is not good.

As of right now 12 people were unhappy enough to leave negative reviews and 7 neutral reviews.

2 negatives and 2 neutrals were over "HALF GUINEA GOLD GILT SOVEREIGN GAMBLING COIN"

Doesn't sound like a good bet.

It's curious that the seller has more than 10 of these available for sale. It could be that they acquired a pile of these gaming tokens, or perhaps there is a different reason they have so many.

Definitely looks off to me, has a 'cast' appearance to it. I would stay away from this coin if you are expecting a 'real' and 'authentic' coin.
But if you are looking to get a reproduction then maybe.
But then again, the sellers rep ain't so good..

It is not a coin,it is a gaming token. Maybe buyers are thinking they are buying a coin?

This falls under common sense for me, quite easy answer.

I bought 4 lam cents from a seller with 100% good reviews. The next day they say coins were shipped, but4 days later I get a refund notice. The reason for refund was buyers choice. I wrote him back but never got a response.
