Bicentennial-Quarter-D-Mint-Mark-Cud-Error?

Hello #128075;
I'm trying to get some information about my d mint mark bicentennial quarter. I'm wondering if this is an error or not and if so, what it's called. Is this a Cud error? Thanks to anyone that can help! 🙏;

It looks like a clip, not a Cud.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

If the reeds are disturbed, it may be coin damage. Looks more like damage to me. Need to see the edge reeds to see what really happened with this coin. If bent, it maybe from someone hammering a screw driver on that area? If damaged and no metal is missing, it should be regular weight. (Or in tolerance)

The reason I say tin snips is because if it was a legitimate straight clip, I think the obv. and rev. would be the same length.
