Hi guys, I inherited some old medals that I found in a box. Problem is I've looked everywhere and found similar things but nothing exactly like mine. I was hoping someone would know something about them. What they are, what there worth?

@jwe, first welcome to CCF. Second, when you say that others are similar, but not the same, what is different between your pendant and either of those in the two in the links below?

Also, for posterity, the inscriptions translate into something like:

Quote:
front: XX. OLYMPICS 1972 MUNICH
back: IN MEMORY OF THE MURDERED OLYMPICS PARTICIPANTS
"If you climb a good tree, you get a push."
-----Ghanaian proverb

"The danger we all now face is distinguishing between what is authentic and what is performed."
