I found this 1955 D LWC with what appears to be doubling on the eyelid and extra lettering punched into the jacket. I compared it to Wexlers variety and the doubling on the eye looks similar but slightly different. Would this be a DDO? And would the lettering in the jacket be considered a mule, some other type of error or PMD? Thanks in advance for your help

I think those are just hit marks. The letters do not make since anyway because some are sideways and upside down.

A mule is a die used from another denomination/series. Your coin is not one of these:

These are very rare. Most of the time they are mint assisted errors that could cost the employees their jobs.

CoopHome: What is a Mule Coin? a wrong die that is from another series used.

All I am seeing is a lot of circulation hits and a cleaned coin.

I think what you're seeing is a lamination peel.
