The area would be near the smallest branch on the reverse. You might repost the image of the reverse to this second page so it would be here by my overlays? Petespockets55 Pillar of the Community United States 5785 Posts	Posted 02/01/2023 6:02 pm The two impressions on the head are PSD. The struckthrough on the neck could be on two separate coins. Since the overall shape is similar I suspect it is a fairly large glob of mint grease and both of those coins were struck in fairly quick succession. Congrats on a fun find. EDIT: This is embarrassing. I see I replied to the other thread. I was still green at that point (2019) and didn't know about " Struck Through Grease" on coins. I still believe this is Struck Through Grease. Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups. We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow. I have a run of 4 cents that were struck with the same debris. 1 with a little less than the previous. I know that they were struck very close to the same time because they came out of a unc. roll.
