Hi, just picked up this Henry vi Silver Groat from the Reigate Hoard. Just wondering if there were different versions of if anyone could give me more information on this one. Still learning.

With regard to your coin, I'm seeing that you have annulets connecting the triple pellets in two of the quarters of the cross. I'm also seeing the inscription VILLA CALISIE, which together means your coin was minted in Calais between 1422 and 1430 AD. Hopefully someone else with more expertise can give you more information. Yes Henry VI first reign annulet issue from Calais (S 1836). These have annulets either side of the king's neck and/or on the reverse, and annulet (and saltire) punctuation i.e. in the legends, rather than leaves, trefoils, lys, pellets, rosettes, mascles or pinecones.
