I read somewhere, I'm not sure if it was here or not, that scratches and scuffs can be removed from slabs by rubbing a brass cleaner called Brasso on them. Anybody know if this is true or have a better solution? I don't want to make it worse. I've been seeing more of this kind of damage especially from ebay purchases. I know it's only the plastic but please be careful. The scuffs can make it real, real hard to use a loupe or get correct pics.
Another type of damage I have is what looks like air condensation permanently fogging up a small part of the viewing window of the slab. I don't know if that's what it really is but it looks like that. Any way to correct this, short of paying for a re-slab?
Thanks for any help, Ron.

Personally, I know that coins once slabbed are pretty secure and airtight but, I don't trust chemicals of any kind near my coins including my slabbed ones. If it were me, I'd leave it or re-slab. There might be a safe polishing cloth to remove scratches
