I remeber seeing somewhere, either online or in a bookstore, A "Minature" version of the "2009 Red Book guide to United States coins" thats more portable then the regular book. (Possibly a different year) a long time ago, And recently I found myself needing it, But I can't find it online on anywhere... Its pretty much the same book as the Red Book, but much smaller and flips open like a checkbook.

Does it go by a different name then the larger version?, And does anybody happen to have a link to it anywhere? Thanks in advance.

Thanks! That's close, its probably what I saw, But the one I was after (If it exist) is smaller (And might flip open vertically, but is also spiral bound). Really I'm trying to find a small coin book that can fit in ones pocket so its easily accessible when needing immediate information on a coins year or type (Such as a garage sale), I'm not sure if I can find a book like that, though.

Never saw such a small version of any coin book. Remember that with so much info packed into a Red Book the printing would be so small that it wouldn't pay to carry it anyway.
However, since you mentioned that you may want to drop a suggestion to Whitman Publishing about that. They have gone into so many versions of books on coins, you may win a free copy of one for your suggestion. Or they may hire you as a consultant.

Joe:
At this time, there is only the check list, But:
I agree that a small version would be neat and easier to carry.

However, the large print edition (new version) is easier on my eyes.

Please let me know if you ever find that 'small' version of the Red Book.

I would be interested I getting one also.
Frank
